Saxon Hall in 28mm
Saxon Hall... You can`t create a Saxon village without the local Thegn`s Hall. Now, I have to admit that in the construction it got away from me a bit. On reflection, it`s a bit big. However, let´s just assume that the local Lord is like modern Mayors and wanted something to reflect his own sense of importance. So, the size of it will stand until I build another of more moderate dimensions.... Construction. Once again, I followed my tried and trusted construction method of building a house-shaped box. As usual. mounting card was used and was glued together using my glue guns. I then thought about the kind of construction I wanted. Initially it was going to be stone but I´m not that happy with Saxon stonework (at least at the moment). So, once again, a mixture of overlapping boards and plasterwork.
